Commission Name - Is the subject of the e-mail I'll receive, please put your project's name.
Commission Details - Any and all information about your project. Please be very thorough and make sure to include any of the following details if your project are any of the following types of projects:
• Minecraft Mods
○ Mod Loader (ie. Forge or Fabric)
○ Minecraft Version (ie. 1.20.2 or 1.19.2)
○ Work Area(s) (ie. World Generation, Entities/Mobs, Rendering, etc.)
○ Any other important information.
Terms Of Service
You will be required to sign a contract that will have the terms listed here or a similar variation of these terms. Terms listed here may be removed and added to the contract between you the client and myself Corgi Taco. These terms are here to protect both the client and Corgi Taco from scamming and theft.
No Estimate Guaranteed
The estimated time and price provided for the completion of the project is provided for informational purposes only and is not to be considered a guarantee. The actual time & cost required to complete the project may be longer or shorter than the estimated time. The client acknowledges and understands that unforeseen circumstances, changes in scope, and other factors beyond Corgi Taco's control may impact the project timeline and final cost.
The client shall receive notification in the event that the project surpasses the initial time and cost estimates specified within this agreement. They will then have the choice to accept the project in its current condition or consent to an extension to ensure the full completion of the service.
Invoices
Corgi Taco will invoice the Client via Square after completion of milestone(s) or the Project, unless otherwise noted in the Payment schedule. The Client agrees to pay invoice(s) by the due date(s) specified. Unpaid or overdue invoices may result in late fees, suspension, or termination of the Project.
Non-Refundable Initial Deposit
Prior to the commencement of services by Corgi Taco, it is agreed that the client shall remit a non-refundable deposit amounting to 30% of the estimated total cost or if the project estimate exceeds 40 hours, 30% of the first 40 hours of work. This deposit is to be paid in advance of the initiation of any work by Corgi Taco.
Payment methods
Payment will be made to Corgi Taco via ACH Bank Transfer using Square's Invoice service.
40 Hours
For every 40 hours of work completed, the client acknowledges and agrees to promptly remit payment for the costs incurred during that period. It is understood that no further work will be undertaken until payment for the previous 40 hours has been received. This provision ensures a fair and transparent payment process, allowing for the smooth continuation of work and the timely fulfillment of obligations by both parties. Additionally, it is agreed that no more than 40 hours will be worked within any 7-day period to maintain a balanced workload and schedule adherence.
Termination of Commission
The commission ends on [commission end date] or upon project completion, unless one of the parties ends the commission before that time. If one of the parties chooses to end the commission prior to Project completion, the Client is responsible for paying for all work and costs incurred up until that date.
Modifications
The Client and Corgi Taco must agree to any changes to this contract in writing.
Client Will Review Work
The Client promises to review the work product, to be reasonably available to the Corgi Taco if Corgi Taco has questions regarding this project, and to provide timely feedback and decisions.
No Refunds Upon Completion
The Customer will be assumed to have accepted the Goods unconditionally upon the date of completion. No refunds will be provided. It is the client's duty to ensure they've tested the provided testing files thoroughly during the commission process before accepting the final files.
Code Ownership
All code developed by Corgi Taco during the course of providing services to the client will be considered proprietary to Corgi Taco and shall be deemed as All Rights Reserved. Furthermore, Corgi Taco will ensure that the code is securely stored in a private repository, accessible only to Corgi Taco. Upon completion of the project, the code will be transferred to the client, granting them complete ownership and control over the code.
Proguard
Proguard will be utilized by Corgi Taco to obfuscate the testing files shared with the client during the commission process, ensuring that the code remains difficult to decipher or reverse engineer. This measure serves to safeguard the intellectual property and proprietary information of the business. However, it is important to note that Proguard will be removed from the final files and upon the client's full payment, granting them unrestricted access to the unobfuscated code.
No Response
If the client fails to provide a response within one week of a request for information, Corgi Taco reserves the right to terminate the commission. This clause is put in place to ensure that necessary communication and collaboration occur in a timely manner, and to protect the business from potential delays or disruptions caused by prolonged non-responsiveness.
Respect Policy
The client agrees to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor when engaging in any communication or interaction with Corgi Taco. This includes engaging in personal attacks or any behavior that may be deemed disrespectful or disruptive. Failure to adhere to this respect policy may result in termination of the commission at the discretion of Corgi Taco.
